will present you with a list of alternative furnished

How many months in advance do I have to book my flat?
France Ermitage manages and rents 450 flats in the heart
of Paris. However, demand for short-stay accommodation is
high, so it is recommended you contact us at least one month
in advance to book a furnished flat or studio in Paris.
For how long can I rent a furnished flat with France
Ermitage in Paris?
With France Ermitage you can rent for as long as you like.
Some of our customers have been in their rented flat for over
a year. Although France Ermitage is a short-let furnished
flat specialist, we do also cater for the more traditional
longer-term rental market.
If there is a problem with the flat or any of its
fittings during my stay, how quickly can France Ermitage deal
with it?
When handing the keys to you after inventory, France Ermitage
will give you the number of its 24 hour hotline manned by
the agency for major problems, such as a water leak or the
fridge breaking down. In such circumstances our agency guarantees

Do all France Ermitage flats have Internet access?
Yes, all short-let studios and flats let by France Ermitage
have broadband Internet access. Each flat also has a telephone
landline and is required to have cable television.

Are pets allowed in furnished flats?
Save for exceptional circumstances, pets are not allowed
in France Ermitage short-let flats.
Are electricity, heating and hot water included in
the rent?
For stays of one month or less, electricity, heating and
hot water are included in the rent. For longer stays, they
are extra. However, rent reductions are available for stays

Does France Ermitage provide rent payment receipts?
In its capacity as short-term letting agency,
France Ermitage, in accordance with French law provides receipts
for all rent payments. For companies that rent furnished
flats for employees, invoicing is also possible.
Is the letting of furnished studios and flats in
Paris by France Ermitage legal?
Absolutely. In fact France Ermitage has been accredited by
the Paris Tourist Office now for several years for its short-term
furnished flat letting business. Since its establishment
30 years ago, France Ermitage has worked with the most prestigious
companies which have used its services to find accommodation
for their employees on professional relocation.

Is it possible to place a property with France Ermitage
for just a few months a year?
When a property is entrusted to France Ermitage for management
by its owner, the minimum contract period is one year. However,
should the landlord so wish, it is possible for him to occupy
the flat periodically.

What insurance should I choose for a furnished flat let out
for short periods?
France Ermitage’s management mandate includes multi-risk
insurance for your flat with a special ‘furnished rental’
clause. This insurance contract is an exclusive feature of
France Ermitage and gives full cover for your flat.
